The report is based on 195 responses from youth information and youth work professionals across Europe, collected in seven languages. The findings were validated through four focus groups, one of which was organised by FNT in Romania. The main conclusion is that AI is already part of everyday work, particularly for drafting, translation and structuring information. However, internal rules, transparency and data protection have not yet kept pace with its use. Moreover, 89.1% of respondents believe that AI can lead to wrong decisions, which is why human oversight remains essential.
The publication also includes seven recommendations for the responsible use of AI. These will form the basis of the practical guidelines to be developed in the next phase of the project.
