The National Youth Foundation is hosting the JIMMY Course (Youth Information Mediator Training Course), an internationally certified training programme for youth workers and professionals active in the field of youth information and counselling.

About the training
JIMMY International is a certified training course designed to develop practical skills in youth information and counselling. This edition is organised by the National Youth Foundation within the framework of its Erasmus+ accreditation, and delivers the official JIMMY curriculum certified by ERYICA — the European Youth Information and Counselling Agency.
Participants who complete the full programme will receive two forms of recognition: a Youthpass certificate issued under the Erasmus+ programme, and an ERYICA-accredited JIMMY certification, recognising them as qualified Youth Information Mediators at European level. Unlike most Erasmus+ training activities, which offer only Youthpass, the ERYICA accreditation places participants within a recognised European network of youth information professionals — with lasting professional value beyond the training itself.
Who should apply
The course is designed for youth workers who provide information to young people as part of their daily work, professionals in non-formal education settings — including mentors, tutors, community workers, and project coordinators — as well as practitioners looking to formalise and deepen their competences in youth information work at European level.
Eligibility criteria:
- Working or volunteering in the youth sector
- Aged 18 or above
- Able to communicate and participate fully in English
- Committed to attending all five days of training
- Motivated to apply the learning in their professional context after the course
How to apply
The application deadline has been extended to 24 June 2026. To apply, complete the application form at the link below. Applications will be assessed on the basis of professional relevance, motivation, group balance (nationality, gender, professional background), and organisational capacity to contribute to the group.
