Starting in April, we’re kicking off a new international project aimed at bringing together international youths with local youths, offering them the chance to learn from each other and to live experiences that will shape their future.
Thus, together with the Tulcea County Youth Foundation, Dâmbovița County Youth Foundation and Romanian Youth Foundation Bihor we will host 10 French interns who, for 6 months, alongside local youth worker teams, will develop activities for the youths in the local community.
How can you get involved?
Well, we’re looking for 10 enthusiastic young people (2 for each location, except Bucharest where we are looking for 4 young people) eager to collaborate with the French interns throughout their stay in Romania. Your responsibilities will include:
- Active support in the activities organized by the youth workers;
- Initiating and facilitating your own activities for the youths in the local community;
- Promoting activities through social media networks, thus becoming a true Social Media Wizard;
- Compiling a report of the conducted activities to highlight your achievements;
- Participating in training sessions offered by the National Youth Foundation team.
What are we looking for?
- Young people aged between 18 and 29, residents in Bucharest, Tulcea, Târgoviște or Oradea;
- Availability for 6 hours a day, 5 days a week;
- Fluency in English;
- An enthusiastic spirit and eager to make a difference in the community.
Important details:
- The role is voluntary, and at the end, you will receive a participation certificate;
- During the 6 months of volunteering, you will benefit from 12 euros/day (7 euros for meals and 5 euros as pocket money);
- At the end of the period, you will have the opportunity to go on a 6-month internship in France;
- The project will take place between April 2024 and September 2024.
